We are, Mexican
and Gay Owned

The Founders

We’re Vince and Adolfo, founders of Chicano Candle Co, a proudly gay, and Chicano-owned fragrance brand based out of the Coachella Valley.

We believe scent is one of the most powerful connections to memory. A single fragrance can transport us back to childhood, remind us of a loved one, or reconnect us with the places and traditions that shaped who we are. Through scent, we celebrate culture, community, and the stories that make us feel at home.

Inspired by our Mexican heritage, family traditions, and everyday moments, we create candles and home fragrances that evoke nostalgia and spark meaningful connection. Many of our fragrances are rooted in personal memories. Bloom reminds Adolfo of his grandmother smoking in front of her rose garden; Chamoy reminds Vince of eating fresh fruit drenched in chamoy on a hot summer afternoon.

Growing up, terms like "Mijo" and "Mija" were expressions of love used by parents, grandparents, neighbors, and chosen family. Today, those values of belonging, warmth, and connection continue to inspire everything we create.

At Chicano Candle Co., our mission is to tell stories through scent, while creating space for culture and representation within the home fragrance industry. We are passionate about celebrating the richness of the Latino experience, honoring the communities that shaped us, and creating products that help people feel seen, remembered, and connected.

Every candle is an invitation to revisit a cherished memory, celebrate where you come from, and create new traditions of your own.
